A New book to get Children to Sleep:
My son slept in a crib in our bedroom for the first year of his life (due to our house layout). Our townhouse was three floors and I didn’t feel comfortable having him sleeping on another floor. The bad news is some of the habits and sleep issues he developed afterwards were tough to break. We should have read the Best sleep training book for new moms. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way.
But the good news, when we bought and moved to our new house, we got him his own bed and exciting bed sheets & comforter, he was on his own and willing to spend time in his own bed. The challenge then became getting him to sleep. I found a new book to get children to sleep and want to share it.
Do you struggle with getting your child to fall asleep?
I’m sure this is a common scenario with multiple versions, but your child has dinner, bath, brush teeth, PJ’s, and then won’t go to sleep. Spending precious time that you could be sleeping, exercising or preparing for tomorrow in an effort to get your child to sleep can be extremely frustrating.
This is the book that worked for us.
Parents all over the world who have embraced The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep as their new nightly routine. It is now part of our nightly routine and truly helps. Sometimes it even makes my husband want to fall asleep. This story uses a unique and distinct language pattern that will help your child relax and fall asleep—at bedtime or nap-time. Read the intro to yourself in advance so you know how to pronounce the words, there are some words to emphasize, read slowly, softly, etc.
About the story
When Roger the Rabbit can’t fall asleep, Mommy Rabbit takes him to see Uncle Yawn, who knows just what to do. Children will join Roger on his journey and be lulled to sleep alongside their new friend.
Give the The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep: A New Way of Getting Children to Sleep a try. It worked for us and worked for others we know. For $10-$12 it was worth the money, but keep in mind it is nice for children to switch up their bedtime stories every once and a while. Also, if the money is an issue, look into used versions of the book, the pricing drops significantly.
Check out the Amazon reviews prior to buying, it doesn’t work for everyone.
